I downloaded a torrent and got the .rar files and extracted them but when i try to run the game using 7-zip I get the message that it cant complete setup because it cant read the source file.
My question is this: Is this just a issue wiht the torrent? or is it something wrong with what I am doing? How can I fix this?

It could be that one or more rar files are corrupt. This can't have been caused by using BitTorrent as BitTorrent has a reliable error detection mechanism, most likely, corrupt files were being shared right from the start. If a par file is included you can attempt to fix the corrupted file.

It could also be that one of the rar files is simply missing. If the rar files have sequential numbers as an extension, check if a number is missing and try to find that file.

I hate to tell you this, but you might need to find a new torrent.
