The Supreme Court of Italy recently confirmed a ruling that forces Italian ISPs to block full access to The Pirate Bay website. Since Italian ISPs are now blocking access, ISPs in Malta are now unable to provide access to their customers anymore.

Ubisoft's new DRM designed to prevent piracy was cracked within hours of its release. The new DRM restricts and hinders legitimate customers even more, but in turn Ubisoft promises extra content for them. Any real impact on piracy remains to be seen.

The Icelandic Supreme Court has ruled that the Icelandic BitTorrent tracker Istorrent must stay offline. Istorrent was taken offline more than two years ago due to allegations of violating the copyright law.
