Firefox search plugin has been improved

The Torrent Scan Firefox torrent search engine plugin available from the Search Plugins page has been updated.

The new version now shows you toolbar that spans across the top of your browser window, allowing you to view the search results immediately below. This new approach simulates a real toolbar and should hence make it a lot easier to torrent scan.

If you prefer a different layout and theme you can simply use your preference panel to change it. The search plugin will respect your wishes. Furthermore, the search plugin also relies on the recently improved horizontal themes.


You can download the search plugin from mozilla.org (it's currently listed as experimental but it's fully functional and has been extensively tested, it's just waiting for the green light from someone of the Mozilla crew).
